Electrical shutdown scheduled on campus

An electrical shutdown has been scheduled for Sunday, October 9, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Tuesday, October 11, from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM in order to install a duct bank for the new electrical feeder required to support the new Worth Hills housing project. Buildings will be affected for different durations.

All building power will be shut off to the following buildings for the entire duration of both shutdowns:

· Bartzen Varsity Tennis Courts
· Beckham-Shelburne Residence Hall
· Brachman Residence Hall
· Frances Sadler Residence Hall
· Friedman Tennis Center
· Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium (Note: A generator will be provided to support pre-game activities on Sunday.)
· Indoor Tennis Courts
· Intramural Fields
· Jane Justin Soccer Field House
· Lowden Track and Field Complex
· Lupton Baseball Stadium
· Martin-Moore Residence Hall
· Moody Residence Hall
· Physical Plant
· Tomlinson Residence Hall
· Varsity Tennis Building
· Wiggins Residence Hall
· Worth Hills Building/Athletics Offices
· Wright Admission Center (Note: A backup generator will be provided to support both shutdowns.)

All building power will be shut off to the following buildings on Sunday, October 9, from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM only; and on Tuesday, October 11 from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM only:

· Daniel-Meyer Coliseum
· Dee J Kelly Alumni and Visitors Center
· John Justin Athletic Center
· Linbeck Trailer
· Meyer-Martin Athletic Complex
· Moncrief Residence Hall
· Morris Football Practice Fields
· Ranch Management
· Rickel Academic Wing
· Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility
· Schollmaier Basketball Complex
· University Recreation Center
· Varsity Weight Room Facility
· Walsh Athletic Complex

Residents or employees who live or work in any of the above facilities should turn off all electronic office equipment prior to the shutdown to minimize any risk of damage to the equipment when the power is turned back on.
