Undergraduate business program jumps to No. 69 in "U.S. News 2012" ranking

The Neeley School’s undergraduate business program jumped 19 places to No. 69 in the 2012 U.S. News & World Report ranking of the Best Undergraduate Business Programs. U.S. News & World Report lists TCU as tied for No. 69 out of 633 business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), according to a survey of deans and senior faculty at each of the 633 AACSB accredited schools. Also, the Neeley School of Business'  undergraduate business program jumped 19 places to No. 69 in the 2012 U.S. News & World Report ranking of the Best Undergraduate Business Programs. The Neeley School’s low student-teacher ratio and focus on each student’s success in every aspect of business life continues to distinguish Neeley among the nation’s finest undergraduate business programs.

 

“We are delighted that more and more university administrators have a very positive feeling about the Neeley School and our undergraduate program,” said Bill Moncrief, associate dean for undergraduate programs. “We think that Neeley’s rise in all rankings reflects the positive programming that we are doing for undergraduate business students at TCU.”

 

In the overall ranking, TCU was lauded for a student/faculty ratio of 13 to one, 40 percent of classes having fewer than 20 students, and student satisfaction resulting in more than 85 percent of first-year students returning for sophomore year.

 

Business, Management and Marketing are listed as the most popular majors at TCU.

Roach Dean of the Neeley School. “Exceptional education targets student learning and professional development, one student at a time.”

 

The Neeley School of Business at TCU recently launched Neeley Student Success Services, a collaborative partnership between the Neeley Academic Advising Center, Alcon Career Center, Neeley Professional Development Center and student leadership programs to align each undergraduate business student’s academic plan with an individual career and professional development plan to help Neeley students realize exceptional professional success.
