PianoTexas offers three weeks of Cliburn medalists and classical music June 5 - 29

Winners of the Concerto Competition during PianoTexas perform a final concert with the Fort Worth Symphony

Fort Worth, TX

5/25/2010

PianoTexas International Academy & Festival will unfold on the TCU campus June 5-29, featuring performances by Cliburn Competition medalists and other world-recognized pianists along with concerts by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of FWSO conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya.

There will also be opportunities to hear classical piano played  by aspiring young professionals, longtime music teachers and avid amateurs as they convene to immerse themselves in the world of piano.

It's an event not to be missed by anyone who loves and appreciates fine music, especially since daily recitals by non-professionals are free and all events, including master classes with the guest artists, are open for the public to observe.

Phone 817-257-7456 or visit the website at www.pianotexas.org for a complete schedule of events, details on the music to be performed by each guest artist and online ticket sales. Individual tickets will be available at the door a half-hour prior to each event. Highlights include:
