PianoTexas International Academy & Festival will fill the TCU campus with music now through June 7 as visiting talents both young and old immerse themselves in the world of piano performance.

Twenty-three aspiring young professionals, 12 longtime music teachers and nine avid amateurs are here for masterclasses, seminars and the opportunity to attend the 13th annual Van Cliburn International Piano Competition held every four years at Bass Performance Hall.  Live coverage of the Van Cliburn competition can be heard on TCU’s KTCU FM 88.7 and also online at www.ktcu.tcu.edu.

An international lineup of concert artists make up this year's faculty and their master classes in PepsiCo Recital Hall are open to the public. Tickets are available at the door 15 minutes prior to each session at $10 each, or $5 with a student ID.
Other highlights will be the Young Artists Concerto Competition, set for 2:30-6 p.m. and 7-10:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21 in PepsiCo Recital Hall.

Young Artists Recitals, 90-minute programs with free admission, are set for 7:30 p.m. June 1 and 2 in PepsiCo Recital Hall.
