TCU to host speaker on "slow medicine"

Dennis McCullough, M.D., will address caregiver issues, personal medical decisions and new careers in Slow Medicine in his free public lecture, “Slow Medicine”—Families and Careers.  The lecture will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 4 p.m. in the Brown-Lupton University Union auditorium.

Dr. McCullough is a Dartmouth geriatrician and author of the book, My Mother, Your Mother: Embracing “Slow Medicine,” The Compassionate Approach to Caring for Your Aging Loved Ones. The book discusses many issues involved in caring for aging persons, including the overuse of hospitalization, making informed decisions and limiting costs.
