Fort Worth, TX

The TCU football team is ranked ninth in the final USA Today poll and 11th by Associated Press.

The Horned Frogs have achieved their highest season-ending ranking since 1959 when they appeared at No. 7 in the final AP poll. TCU is ranked in the final Top 25 for the fourth time in the last six years. Overall, it is the Horned Frogs' highest appearance in a poll since they were ranked ninth by AP with a 7-0 record on Oct. 29, 2000.

The Horned Frogs (11-1) hold the nation's second-longest current winning streak at 10 games, behind only national champion Texas (20). TCU is one of just seven teams to win 11 games this season.

TCU, 5-0 against 2005 bowl teams, won its last eight games by an average of 21.9 points and led the nation in interceptions (26) and takeaways (40). The Horned Frogs allowed just three touchdowns in their last three games and an average of 13.4 points in the final seven contests.

Offensively, TCU set a single-season school record with 50 touchdowns while its 398 points scored ranks second in Horned Frog history.

Since 2000, TCU has the 12th-best record (53-19, .736) in Division I-A.
