Homecoming 2011 was memorable in many ways.  Not only did TCU walk away with a huge shutout win over University of New Mexico, but the COE Homecoming tailgate was a huge success.  More than 80 faculty, staff, and alumni with families gathered at the Starpoint school parking lot for fun, food, and fellowship.  Attendees were greeted by Dean Mary Patton along with TCU COE alumnae Taddie Hamilton and Betty Verma.  The tailgate spread included sliders, chips, and decorated TCU cookies.  Hoola hoops, balls, and jump ropes were provided for the children (and big kids) in attendance.  Senior Mentors were on hand as TCU COE ambassadors and helpers.  Tailgate participants left for the game with bags of special purple popcorn mix and purple megaphones in tow so they could cheer on the Frogs in true TCU style.  It was a festive occasion that is certain to be repeated in years to come.
