University to close on Wednesday for scheduled maintenance and Thanksgiving holiday

Wednesday, Nov. 24, the University will shut down power to numerous buildings
on the west side of campus from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. to allow for scheduled
maintenance. As a result, the University will be closed that day. TCU will then be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday until Monday, Nov. 29.
- The Brown Lupton University Union will have power and be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Union Grounds will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- 1873 will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Market Square will remain closed as planned
- The University Recreation Center will be open from noon to 6 p.m. (visit www.campusrec.tcu.edu for holiday hours)
- Mary Couts Burnett Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- TCU Volleyball game vs. SDSU will still be played at 7 p.m.
