Visitor Parking

For those visiting campus, there are several lots around campus in which to park. Visitors to west campus may park beside the Tom Brown/Pete Wright apartment complex off Bellaire Drive and in the Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center lot off Stadium Drive. Visitors to east campus may park in the visitors lot between reserved lots D and F on Lubbock Ave. across from Dan Rogers Hall. Shuttle rides are available if parking is not in close proximity to the building you are visiting. Click here for shuttle schedules.

Faculty/Staff and Student Parking

For TCU faculty, staff and students, several parking lots have been closed or changed. Click here for a campus map. Click here for shuttle schedules.

February 12, 2010

Beginning Friday, February 12th the Physical Plant will be blocking off sections of the parking lot east of Robert Carr Chapel/Beasley Hall (where the temporary buildings have been removed) in order to install new, permanent lighting.  The duration of the project will be determined by weather and any problems that may arise.  The entire lot will never be blocked.  This area will be resurfaced during spring break.

Please have an alternate parking plan if you normally park in this area.

January 14, 2010

Because Lot 8 is closed for construction of the Mary Wright Admission Center, lots of the East side of campus are being created. The lots will be available behind Robert Carr Chapel at Greene Avenue and West Lowden Street at the end of the month.

December 18, 2009

Lot 8 (corner of Bellaire and Stadium) will be closed tonight (Friday) by Linbeck in order to begin construction of the new Mary Wright Admission Center.  Linbeck will use the entire lot for staging, materials, etc.  This lot will be closed until completion of the project.

Those who normally park in this lot, should plan to park in other lots during the duration of the project.  Lot 3 near the stadium is an option and offers the free shuttle. The large lot located due west of Lot 8 on Kent and Mid Court is another option.  Spaces may also be available in Lot 7 by the indoor practice facility.  However, this lot is also used by students who live on the main campus and may be full at times.

When parking on these streets, the City recommends parking between the white brackets marked on the street, identifying the parking space by the letter marked on the curb, and selecting the appropriate letter for your space on the meter when you insert coins.

The University Union sidewalk along North Main road is scheduled to open this week.

September 6, 2007

As construction on the bookstore progresses, areas on Berry and Cockrell Streets immediately next to the construction site may be blocked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Construction on Cockrell Street may make it difficult to get to the bookstore and the reserved parking lot at Cockrell and W. Bowie Streets until early October. Only one lane on Cockrell Street will be open during construction and parking on the street will not be permitted.
