Dr. Kathy Baldwin recognized by the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists

Dr. Kathy Baldwin was honored by the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists with the Sue Davidson Service Award. Dr. Baldwin, an associate professor and the director of graduate studies in nursing for the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences, was co-principal investigator for a grant from the New York University Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing to educate clinical nurse specialists who care for older adults.
Dr. Baldwin, also a nurse researcher and clinical nurse specialist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth, serves on the Texas Nurses Association’s continuing education committee as well as on the Advanced Practice Advisory Council for the Texas Board of Nursing.
Dr. Baldwin joined TCU in 1999. She earned a BS, MS, and Ph.D. from Texas Woman’s University and had a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Utah College of Nursing.
