TCU’s TRiO program is hosting their annual Achievers Luncheon on Tuesday, April 28 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Kelly Center. Alumni from TCU’s TRiO program will be recognized during the event, which will also feature keynote speaker Larry Brown, former Dallas Cowboy Super Bowl MVP and TCU alumnus. Brown will discuss being a first generation college student. RSVP required.

TRiO Programs such as Upward Bound, Student Support Services, and the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement program have been dedicated to increasing access and retention to higher education for high-potential students who come from under-represented ethnic or economic backgrounds, students with disabilities, and/or first generation college students. TCU's TRiO program, beginning in 1969, has aided numerous students within the program to achieve their goals and graduate into the world to live out the mission statement of the university.
