Homecoming and Frog Fest celebrations

TCU invites fans to participate in its 2008 Homecoming celebration sponsored by the Student Government Association beginning Friday, Oct. 24 at 5:45 p.m., and ending with the football game against Wyoming Saturday, Oct. 25, at 5 p.m.

On Friday, fans are encouraged to wear purple and white to support the Horned Frogs. The homecoming parade will begin at 5:45 p.m. on Friday and spectators can see the TCU Marching Band, cheerleaders and Showgirls as well as student organizations and Mr. and Ms. TCU candidates. The homecoming parade will travel east on Frog Alley, north on Stadium Drive, east on Cantey Street, south on University Drive, west on Bellaire Drive north, north on Stadium Drive and west on Frog Alley. FrogFest will provide a pep rally and free activities for all ages including bouncing castles, live music and a casino tent on Friday from 6-9 p.m. in the Campus Commons.  All activities are open to the public.

TCU soccer will host UNLV at 7 p.m. on Friday, the swimming and diving team will compete against alumni at 10 a.m. Saturday and the volleyball team will host UNLV at 1 p.m. on Saturday. TCU football will play Wyoming on Saturday at 5 p.m. Tickets and information about all athletic events are available at www.gofrogs.com.
