"Art in the Metroplex" at TCU's Moudy Gallery until Oct. 2

“Art in the Metroplex” is on display in TCU's Moudy Gallery, 2805 S. University Drive, from now until Oct. 2.
More than 120 works were submitted to this 26th annual juried competition which showcases artists working in North Texas. There are 34 artists represented this year.   Winners will be announced at 8 p.m.

Juror is Eleanor Heartney of New York City, an independent cultural critic and author. She is contributing editor for Art in America and Artpress and has written for Art News, New Art Examiner, The Washington Post and The New York Times. She will
announce the winners of "Art in the Metroplex" during the Juror's Lecture and Awards Evening at 7 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Moudy Gallery.

"Art in the Metroplex" is organized annually by TCU and the Templeton Art Center.  Daimler Financial Services is corporate sponsor of the competition.
